Finished!

Yeah! I finally did it! I got it finished last night! I stayed up way too late stitching! I ended up leaving the hearts off by the words. I was going to put crows there, but I decided to just leave it plain. The only other changes I made was putting the bunnies on the hill instead of the squirrels. Everything else is as charted.

I've had so much fun stitching along with you all! Thank you all for the inspiration you gave me every day! I will continue to check on you all and cheer you on as you stitch your neighborhoods. They are all looking great! :) Maybe we will be able to SAL again in the future on another of Diane's great designs!

I'm getting close to finishing! :) I hope to get it finished up this weekend!

Hi Everyone! I have finally decided what to put on top. I decided to stick with the rooster after trying two different cats. They just looked huge next to the girl. I also decided to go with bunnies instead of the squirrels. I'm working on the trees now. I hope to get them finished or close to finished today.

I got the bunny chart from my CCN Summer Garden pattern. I was so happy that they fit on the little hills. :)

I have almost finished the grass on the top portion. I hope to get more done later today. :)

Middle Section Finished!

Well, almost finished. I still have to stitch the leaves and flowers on the border. :)

I'm still loving it! I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make any changes on the top section. Look forward to seeing everyone else progress! :)

Blue House is Finished!

Hi Everyone! I got the tree in the middle finished and most of the blue house!

I stitched a little bit more on my neighborhood yesterday. I decided to stitch the sheep. I love those sheepies! :)

Now, on to the tree! :)

I finally finished the bottom! Well, I still have to add my initials and the year, but I'll wait until I finish the whole thing to do that. And I'm still deciding what, if anything, I'm going to put next to the words.

A Little More Progress

I'm working on the tree on the bottom section and then I'll finally be able to move up to the middle! Can't wait! :)

Hi Everyone! I'm loving everyone's progress! You all are such an inspiration! I finished the bottom house yesterday. I ended up taking out the hearts next to the words. My friend Deb suggested it last week when we met for lunch and I like it a lot better. I'm not sure if I'm going to put something else there or not. She suggested maybe two blackbirds or something. I may just leave. I kind of like it with just the words.

I had a nightmare about my neighborhood last night. You can read about it on my blog. It was crazy! :)
